The Rokinon SP 10mm f/3.5 is designed for the Canon EF mount camera systems. The field of vision is a massive 130 degrees. The lens has a maximum aperture of f/3.5. The internal design includes a total of 18 elements arranged in 11 groups. These include 3 aspherical elements, 1 HR element and 3 ED elements. The lens also has ultra multi coating to prevent flares and ghosting. Please note this is a manual focusing lens with no AF motor. The lens’ aperture diaphragm is composed of 7 blades.

The maximum aperture of the lens ranges from f/2.8 – 4 across the focal length. The lens construction includes low dispersion and aspherical elements to counter spherical and other aberrations. Auto-focusing is powered by Tamron’s OSD auto-focusing motor technology. Additionally, the lens is image stabilized. Thanks to Tamron’s VC image stabilization technology.

The Tamron SP 35mm f/1.4 is a 35mm standard prime lens. The lens has versions for both the two popular mounts. At f/1.4 the lens promises a lot of light captured. About 2 and a third stop more than standard kit lenses when used at their widest focal length. That’s a significant amount of extra light which comes in handy when shooting in low light. It also comes in handy when trying to freeze movement. The lens has auto-focusing. It is powered by Tamron’s USD AF motor technology. Full-time manual focusing is also available.

The Pentax FA 35mm f/2 is a standard prime designed for Pentax’s full-frame cameras. That said, the lens is compatible with the crop sensor Pentax cameras as well. With a slightly increased effective focal length because of the crop factor. The lens has a single aspherical element which prevents spherical aberrations. Additionally, the lens also has HD coating. This coating prevents flares and ghosting from affecting the quality of the images. The only thing that the lens lacks is a fast aperture. Though f/2 is quick, there are faster 35mm standard primes in the market.

One extra low dispersion element, 2 aspherical elements and 4 HRI elements make up the internal constriction. Finally, 7 rounded blades make up the aperture diaphragm.
